Four on the Floor Method
Step 1
Turn back when they jump. No eye contact, no talking.
Step 2
Reward immediately when all four paws are on ground.
Step 3
Ask for sit before greeting. Only pet when sitting.
Step 4
Practice with guests. Brief them on the rules.
Tips
- Keep on leash when guests arrive
- Exercise before visitors
- Use baby gates at doors
