Crusty skin around eyes, mouth, ears. Zinc supplements help.
2. Hot Spots
Moist inflamed patches. Keep dry, use topical treatment.
3. Food Allergies
Triggers: chicken, beef, wheat. Elimination diet to identify.
4. Environmental Allergies
Pollen, dust mites. Antihistamines or immunotherapy.
5. Follicular Dysplasia
Patchy hair loss. Cosmetic only.
Coat Care
- Brush 2-3x weekly, daily during shedding
- Never shave a husky
- Bathe every 3-4 months
